Luxury car specialist Lexus Stoke is the latest Staffordshire business to sponsor the 2019 Stone Food & Drink Festival, which will take place on 4th, 5th & 6th October 2019. The dealership is supporting the event’s Talks & Tastings Tent and Demonstration Kitchen, which each host a packed programme of foodie delights over the three days.
They join lead sponsor Joule’s Brewery and a number of other local businesses in sponsoring the not-for-profit, volunteer-run event. Other sponsors include Aston Marina, which provides the Park & Ride site; Brown Waste Management which handles all the festival waste ensuring 0% makes its wat into landfill, gold sponsor JTF Mega Discount Warehouse, Dave Fox Cars which sponsors the town centre map in the festival programme and Stone Van Hire, which will provide a welfare van for the event.
The support of local businesses is essential to the event, as festival chairman, Richard Stevens explains:
“We are a volunteer-run CIC which operates with the goal of providing an event that will bring visitors – and their cash – into Stone. With the festival taking place on grass the set-up overheads are huge in terms of security fencing, marquee hire, generators, not to mention promotion – business sponsorship provides essential cash flow to help us improve the event year on year. We’re hugely grateful not only to our sponsors but to all the local businesses who lend their support be it financially or through the provision of goods or services. Without their support, the show could not go on.”

The 2019 Stone Food & Drink Festival will take place on Friday 4, Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 October on Westbridge Park in Stone.
