With just over a week to go till the 2023 Stone Food & Drink Festival at Kibblestone Scout Camp, we take a look at the great live acts set to take the stage on the 15th & 16th July.
Kindly sponsored by Granville’s of Stone and Barlow Motors Stoke, this year’s line-up offers something for everyone with a great mix of genres guaranteed to get revellers in the party spirit (once they’ve had their fill of watching live cookery demonstrations, talks, tastings and shopping for gourmet treats).
Kick-starting the entertainment on Saturday from 12.00pm-12.45pm will be the talented youngsters from local performing art academy, Rooftop Studios, who will showcase their skills through song and dance. Upbeat acoustic duo the Black Tie Bandits will then take the stage from 1.30pm-2.30pm, playing soul classics right up to present day before organisers stage a take-over at 3pm with a special thank you to the festival sponsors.
From 3.15pm-4.15pm, Legends of Sound will bring the nostalgia of 80s stadium rock and party anthems to the Kibblestone masses, before a choral take on rock classics courtesy of the local Rock Choir from 4.45pm-5.15pm. Saturday headliners Brass Monkeys will then play a blistering set from 6.00pm-7.00pm with their action-packed, fun-filled combination of Soul, R&B, Funk, Motown & Pop.
Crowds on Sunday will be just as well entertained. First up at 12.30-1.30pm will be acoustic trio Vibealicious; taking you a journey of the finest in Funk, Soul, Motown and more. From 2.15-3.15pm high energy, big impact, 3-piece rock band The Black Jeans will perform some of the greatest Rock and indie hits as well as transforming pop, soul, and dance classics into dancefloor-filling rock anthems. The Rock Choir will then perform from 3.45pm – 4.15pm before Sunday headliners Hello Felix take centre stage from 5-6pm – inviting you to ‘get your boots on and let’s dance all night long like maniacs’ with their repertoire of the ultimate feel-good 80s hits.
This fantastic line-up of live bands is all included within the entry ticket to the main Stone Food & Drink Festival at Kibblestone Scout Camp (One-day ticket £12, Two-day ticket £20, accompanied under-16s free).
