Stone-based logistics firm Drac Group has signed as lead sponsor for the 20th annual Stone Food & Drink Festival, which will take place on 9, 10 & 11 May at the town’s Westbridge Park.
Drac Logistics has seen meteoric growth since its establishment in 2009, with just three staff working from an office in Stone High Street. Operating from three strategically located warehouses Stone, Rochdale and Oldmeldrum that facilitate efficient logistics and distribution across the UK and into Europe. With their HQ a 32,000sq ft warehouse on Stone Business Park. Drac Logistics proudly offers a full range of logistics, distribution, and warehouse services that cater to businesses of all sizes and industries.
Drac Logistics’ Stone roots are behind founder Alex Hayes’ decision to support the festival for a third year running. He says:

This year’s festival will take place on 9th, 10th and 11th May and, with a new team at the helm has a fresh and exciting programme of events in store for foodies, as spokesperson Ed Stant explains:
“With this being the festival’s 20th year we are keen to ring the changes and give Stone a fresh, vibrant event to look forward to. We’ve got a brand-new layout with longer opening hours, a new culinary showcase stage which will see Great British Bake Off Stars billed alongside demonstrations from top local chefs, more fun for families, more live music and a new competition stage where visitors can take part in fun culinary challenges as well as entering their creations in our very own Great Stone Bake Off.
“As usual, there will be plenty of choice when it comes to eating and drinking as well as shopping from artisan food & drink stalls as well as in the new Home & Garden Marquee, Further additions are still to be announced and well-behaved dog on leads will be welcome this year, too.
