Locale Ales at the Swan

25 different locally brewed Real Ales - all brewed within 30 miles of Stone  - will be available during the week or until they've all gone!

Dunoon are giving a 10% discount on all china mugs purchased during Festival week. Valid Monday 27th September to Saturday 2nd October.

 

Staffordshire Lobby -v- Liverpool Scouse - The Pheasant, Old Road from 6.00 p.m.

This famous Festival contest (as seen on BBC TV!) will see landlord Dave Smithwick proving yet again that his mother's secret Scouse recipe is better than Staffordshie lobby! Or will he? Try a bowl of each and cast your vote!

 

Skillet Night at the Blue Rooms - Granville Square from 6.00 p.m.

George kicks off Festival week with a sizzling skillet night! Choose from pork, lamb, seafood or vegetarian.

 

Wine Tasting at Touchstone Wines, 17a Lichfield Street - 7.30 p.m.

"Starting to understand the Chilean Valleys - a detailed tasting".  James Gillespie of Touchstone begins Festival week with another of his fascinating tutored tastings. Tickets £16.50 from the shop or telephone him on 07770 662662

 

Food and Drink Quiz at the Royal Exchange - Radford Street - 7.30 p.m for 8.00 p.m

There will be several food and drink hemed quizzes this week and the Royal Exchange are the first off the blocks! You can expect a Titanic occasion!

 

Jazz and Real Ale - The Vine, Oulton Road from 9.30 p.m.

Stone's regular weekly jazz club venue becomes a special Festival Jazz Night tonight!  The best jazz and the best of Staffordshire's real ales! Free entry but please buy a raffle ticket to help the club's finances.
