THE TRENTHAM ESTATE, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent

THE ANCIENT HIGH HOUSE, Stafford

Take a walk through time. The largest timber framed town house in England. Built in 1595. Period room settings reflect the history of the house. Museum of the Staffordshire Yeomanry. Gift shop.

SHUGBOROUGH ESTATE, Milford, Nr Stafford

900 acre ancestral home of Lord Lichfield featuring an 18th Century mansion house, servants' quarters and museum, rare breeds centre, adventure playground, formal gardens, neo-classical monuments, tea rooms and National Trust Gift Shop

WEDGWOOD VISITOR CENTRE, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent

Award winning visitors attraction. The self guided tour takes you into the world of Wedgwood telling the story from 1759 to date. Throw your own pot or paint your own plate!

ALTON TOWERS, Alton, Nr Uttoxeter

Top theme park, Alton Towers has a new family coaster - Spinball Wizard - rotating through 360 degrees at 60 kph, you'd be crazy to miss it!

AMERTON FARM, Stowe by Chartley, Stafford

Plenty to see in lovely surroundings. Tea room, craft centre, bakery and farm shop. Wonderful gifts and working crafts. Indoor adventure play area, farm yard, wildlife centre, summer steam train, garden centre.

STAFFORDSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST, The Wolseley Centre, Wolseley Bridge, Nr Rugeley

The new Wildlife Trust Visitors Centre in the grounds of the former garden park. 26 acres of lakes, parkland, woodland and sensory garden complete with all ability access trail to enjoy

GLADSTONE POTTERY MUSEUM, Uttoxter Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent

Embark on a journey through this unique preserved pottery factory. Explore the maze of passageways and workshops, skilled pottery demonstrations every day. Opportunity to throw a pot, make a flower and decorate items to take home.

STAFFORD CASTLE AND VISITOR CENTRE, Newport Road, Stafford

Discover 900 years of history. Visit the fascinating stone keep, enjoy panoramic views and explore the extensive castle site complete with Norman earth works. The visitors centre displays artefacts from archaelogical excavations and contains a fascinating audio visual presentation, scale models and hands on equipment.

CHURNET VALLEY RAILWAY, Station Road, Cheddleton, Nr. Leek

A truly beautiful heritage railway deep in the heart of Staffordshire Moorlands. Enjoy a 10.5 mile steam train journey from Cheddleton to Froghall through the splendours of Consall Forge and the Churnet Valley
