!!!!A Huge Success!!!!

Thanks to everyone for making the 2007 Festival such a huge success! Thousands and thousands of visiitors came to Stone over the thee days and the town and Westbridge Park were full of smiling faces. And the weather was kind to us as well!

We've already booked Westbridge Park for October 3rd, 4th and 5th 2008 so put the dates in your diary!

We'll soon be putting up a new website for next year's Festival but in the meantime we'll leave the 2007 site here to remind everyone of what happened this year.

Only a few days to go to the

 Stone Food and Drink Festival!

The third Stone Food and Drink Festival  takes place from Friday 5th October 2007 to Sunday 7th October and promises to be even bigger and better than last year's Festival!.

TV celebrity chefs Mary Berry, Paul Rankin and  the very exciting baby faced James Tanner will be in town to demonstrate their skills.  Established favourites such as the Afford Real Ale Trail and the Manger a Trois roving meals are guaranteed to be sell outs. And our famous Farmers' Market will be in the HIgh Street throughout the Festival.

But this year we have two brand new attractions! The Gourmet Food Marquee in Westbridge Park will house over 60 stands with exhibitors giving samples and tasters and selling their produce from across the country all under cover. And the canal side will be hosting upwards of one hundred canal boats for a grand Boat Meet.

And another first this year is our Park and Ride service. Park your car for free at The Trentham Estate and travel in a luxury coach for the ten minute journey to Stone.

Add to these events the dozens of other special events and special offers from our local traders and businesses and we think you'll agree - there's something for everyone!
